Lowell wildlife control tip of the month:

How to Kill a Mole

Lethal traps are sometimes the best Lowell animal trapping solution for mole problem. There are several types of lethal traps, but they are mostly spring activated. Harpoon traps are placed on the tunnel entrance and scissor traps are placed in their tunnels. A mole will come to the trap because the airflow in the tunnel is obstructed and the mole will do anything to unblock it. Once a mole is near a Lowell animal control trap it will activate, killing the mole. Some argue that that is not the most humane way of dealing with them, but a lot of people do that. Moles were once even hunted for their fur, people made fur coats out of them. But it is not practiced anymore.

Lowell pest control Poisons can also be used against moles, but most of them have proven to be useless against them. Some will do the job, but you have to keep in mind that the poisons you use leave a residue in the ground you put them on, and that can be very dangerous if you use them in your yard or a garden. Children or pets can be seriously harmed if they accidentally get in touch with them. What poison is most effective against moles? Some claim bromethalin is the most effective poison to use. They come in a form of an earthworm which looks like moles meal. Bromethalin is a mixture of Bromine and fluorine, but you should be very careful to use advised amounts since other animals can also eat it and be killed. Also, you have to have a license to use it in some places. Rodenticide warfarin is also used against moles. It is mostly in gel form and other harmful creatures like rodents and mice can also be killed by it. Moles are naturally drawn to it when you put it into their tunnels and they will eat it, which will kill them. Lowell wildlife removal Products with zinc phosphide are also effective.

Nevertheless, if you are choosing Lowell exterminator poisons, natural solutions might be your best choice. Castor oil is one of them and it is the primary choice of many people. There is a debate whether a mole will eat something containing castor oil, but either way, castor oil will make them go away. When choosing a permanent mole solution, you should definitely choose one that will not cause any damage later since poisons stick in the ground where they are placed.
